The Cultured Canine - Divine K-9’s pick for little dogs and small breed puppies
Our training practice is limited to private, in-home sessions with a focus on small breed puppies and little adult dogs. Board and train services are available for our pint-sized clients, too (including housetraining). For excellent group classes, puppy nursery (vital for all puppies) and cases involving aggression, we work cooperatively with Divine K-9 to help our clients benefit from everything that our combined services have to offer.
Diane Podolsky, owner of The Cultured Canine, is a valedictorian graduate of the prestigious San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers founded by Jean Donaldson. Like Bobbie and Jorge of Divine K-9, she is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT). Diane is certified in pet first aid by the Red Cross. Her appearances in the the press include publications such as The Pet Gazette, In Town Magazine, New York Tails, Dogs and Kids Magazine, Westchester Life and Health and Pet People. And, of course, Diane is a proud member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.” Diane’s prior career in technical support and adult education informs her dog training work, helping her to work effectively with the human member of the training team.

Leader of the Pack - Competition Agility Training
Leader of the Pack Too, LLC (LOTP) is central New York's premier school for dog agility training. LOTP is based in Smyrna, NY, and provides classes, clinics and lessons at indoor and outdoor facilities near Ithaca, Skaneateles, Binghamton and Syracuse.
Owner and Training Director Tracy Sklenar brings years of teaching and performing experience to the sport of dog agility. She teaches and competes throughout North America . Tracy is also on the staff of Susan Garrett's world-renowned Say Yes! Dog Training in Ontario, Canada. Leader of the Pack hosts several USDAA trials throughout the year. Tracy is also a regular contributor of training articles and event coverage to Clean Run and DogSport magazines. Before moving to central New York, Tracy was on the staff of the Behavior Department of the ASPCA in New York City, and she can be seen appearing on TV on this season of Animal Planet's "Animal Precinct." Tracy is proud to be a student of Susan Garrett, Greg Derrett, Susan Salo and Bob Bailey.
